Meet Guidelines

Top Gun Team Challenge will meet and exceed all mandated COVID-19 guidelines and expectations. Our priority is to provide a well-run competition while keeping everyone safe as possible. We will be doing our best to have a wonderful experience for all participants.

In order for us to help ensure state mandates are being followed at our event we have hired an independent security company to ensure all athletes, judges, coaches, volunteers and spectators are following the mask mandate and any other protocols that may be in place at the time of our event.

General

  • The facility will be cleaned throughout the day.
  • Session entry will not be allowed until previous session is completed.
  • Hand sanitation stations will be available throughout the venue.
  • Masks will be mandated for everyone in the building and athletes will only remove their mask while competing their event.
  • Physical distancing will be monitored and encouraged throughout the facility.
  • Live streaming for all offsite spectators will be available.
  • Spectators may be limited depending on Oregon COVID guidelines.

By Entering Event you have agreed to the following:

  • You have not been diagnosed with covid-19 (have not recovered or are still within the 14 day quarantine)
  • You have not been in contact with a confirmed covid-19 case or person who is suspected to have covid-19 within the last 14 days
  • You have not had a fever in the last 48 hours
  • You are not experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or a sore throat
  • You have not experienced a loss of taste or smell
  • You have not been vomiting or had diarrhea in the last 24 hours

Athletes:

  • No athlete will be allowed in the venue with any cold/flu/COVID symptoms
  • Session entry will not be allowed until previous session is completed.
  • Athletes will be asked to hand sanitize before entering the venue.
  • Athletes must keep their belongings in their backpacks and will not share personal items.
  • Athletes will be required to wear their face masks to enter and exit the building, goto the restroom, while waiting for their event and awards.
  • Athletes (or teams) are encouraged to have their own personal container of chalk.

Coaches:

    • Please bring only the number of coaches that are needed for each session.
    • Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your session is scheduled to start.
    • Please check in at “Command” for coach’s sign in, athlete cards and receive your coach’s gift.
    • Each coach will be asked to bring a spray bottle for their team to use on bars. Gymnasts are asked to bring their own chalk.
    • No coaches will be allowed in the venue with any cold/flu/COVID symptoms. If you are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone who has been tested positive for COVID-19 please stay home.
    • All coaches must wear their masks fully covering their mouth and nose the entire time they are in the venue and maintain a 6’ distance as much as possible.
    • Coaches may be asked to time their own warm up in order to limit the number of volunteers on the floor.
    • Coaches will be asked to play their own music on floor.
    • There is not a march out, please have your teams stand by their first
      event.

Spectators:

    • No spectators will be allowed in the venue with any cold/flu/COVID symptoms.
    • Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before session time. Session entry will not be allowed until previous session is completed.
    • Spectators will be required to wear a mask at all times and be considerate of others.
    • Spectators will be asked to remove all trash from their area to help speed up the sanitation process between sessions.

Judges:

    • No Judges will be allowed in the venue with any cold/flu/COVID symptoms.
    • Judges will be required to enter their individual scores and time events as needed.
    • All judges are required to wear a mask at all times.

Volunteers:

  • No volunteers will be allowed in the venue with any cold/flu/COVID symptoms.
  • Volunteers 18+ need to have a USAG background check, must register with USAG and be associated with the host member club as well as pass Safe Sport U110. Volunteers 16-17 years must have a volunteer membership and be associated with the host member club. No volunteers under 16 years will be allowed.
  • All volunteers must provide full proof of vaccination or have a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the first day of the event. Vaccination cards and negative tests must show volunteers name.
  • Volunteers are required to wear a face mask at all times.
  • Arrive no earlier than10 minutes before session time. Check in and out at Volunteer table.
